Your thoughts on this bulletin!!!!!

So normally I don't pay any attention to bulletins like this, but I guess this one really bothers me! I won't say who it came from, but she did have it available for comments. I guess she didn't like the comment I left cuz she deleted it!!

I basically told her that at warped they did have time for anybody let alone themselves. They had photo shoots and interviews at almost every date! And then getting caught up on the normal everyday things like eating, sleeping, showering....etc.

Plus she has to realize that they are not changing, but the fan base is. Fans are getting younger and more intense. I would think they are so tired of young girls saying to them marry me and I wanna have your babies!!

So here is the bulletin.............THOUGHT????????

I MISS THE OLD WE THE KINGS

the travis that played an acoustic for me in 18 degree weather.

the hunter that wore that stupid monkey hat.

he drew that was always at the bar.

the danny that nobody recognized.

&i miss the tour manager that asked me if they were going to get big.

& the merch guy that made me feel skinny.

& the comments that always made me smile.

i seriously wish i was wrong when i told tfair that they were going to get big.

i wish i wasn't so excited that check yes juliet was going to be on mtv.

i wish i wasn't so excited that they were headlining their own tour.

i know i'm supposed to be happy for them,
& i am, trust me.

but they're so different now.

i don't know if everyone sees it.

but i sure do.

when i saw them at warped, it was like they were a completely different band.

they didn't have time for me.

i miss the we the kings that i fell in love with,
my boys.

they're not coming back, and it sucks!

where did they go?

I think I might know who that is, but I didn't see the bulletin.

But, geeze. What I have to say is,

It's happening every band. It is going to happen. We all knew this was coming. You had to have been expecting it. And its kind of selfish to complain like it's a bad thing. Like, yeah I wish they were still MY BAND (your band) but I am soo happy for where they are now. If they were getting no attention for what they have achieved, you'd be dissapointed, wouldn't you? So you can't get mad at them doing what they do. What can you do? Support them through the whole thing. We The Kings has yet to dissapoint me.

You're def. right that it will happen to all these bands we like because they are all just so amazing!! I will forever support these guys and defend them til the end. And like you I have never been disappointed by them. I saw them at 2 Warped tours and at both they came out and made time to be with their fans. And well of course I can't complain about the great time I spend with them on my second date.....(I posted that story in the Warped thread). And sure you get sad that perhaps you can't get to hang out with them as much but on the other hand you see just how far they have come and and know just the great things ahead for them, and it makes me proud to say that I am a fan/friend of WTK!!

they totally did NOT change at all. i mean, does she think they're assholes now? come on, they're all way too nice to ever become douches :-\

Could not have put it better myself!! At the first Warped I saw them, Travis was in the middle of doing an interview and he had the lady follow him to the fence and told all of us to say hi to the microphone!! then he stood there and signed stuff while doing the interview!! Now how many others would do that.......

From the first time I saw them to the last time I saw them, Travis has taken the time to remember my name and my face? No other band has done that for me, to be honest.

If they've changed at all, it was only for the better! They love their fans.
The fame hasn't gotten to their head, like other bands. I won't mention

i only met them once but once was enough. what other band takes the time to respond to as many comments as they can (with limited internet access, dont forget)

alex gaskarth said in an interview once (not that im comparing wtk to atl whatsoever) that as much as they try to be nice and try and talk to you stuff, this is their JOB, its their CAREER and they have certain duties and responsibilities that need to be taken care of.
not that it goes for ALL bands because god knows that some bands, unlike wtk and atl for that matter, take no time at all to communicate with their fans.

but hey, thats just me. i know wtk will always be who they are and thats all that matters right

Exactly!!! For all the bands that I have met more than once, there are only 3 that I can say that they remember me and take the time to talk to me each and every time I see them, and of course WTK is one of them!!

And yes this IS their job, and have so much to do during a day. At Warped alone, they had photo shoots and interviews at almost every stop! Then they had signing and acoustic shows! I think my head would be spinning if I had all that to do in one day and then try to find time to just be themselves for a little bit!

I give them soooooooooo much credit for doing what they are doing and still find time to talk to fans.

Just goes to show why they are luved so much!!

ok... so there are alot of younger girls that want to foster travis's babies... and i have to admit, i love travis enough to do that. but i love him because hes so nice to all of his fans. there a more popular band, so they might not have time for pics. i know that, but there still as nice as ever! ask travis for a hug and he'll give you one (he gives the best hugs)

I luv the dancing burrito the best!!!! Everytime I see that I have to laugh. And for them to say about it....Gawd, I would have died!!!! I think we need one of those dancing burritos in here for an icon!!!
